Meet New Life Birth Services

The experience of pregnancy and birth has evolved over the years, especially in today’s modern era.  We believe that the need for caring, sensitive and knowledgeable support during this time is absolutely necessary for mother and baby.   Every pregnancy and birth is a miracle and we feel honored to be able to contribute our expertise to women and families in the Piedmont-Triad area.

B.A. PSY, CNA, Birth Doula (DONA), CCE (ACBE)

As a DONA-trained doula currently pursuing my certification in the Piedmont-Triad area, I offer personalized prenatal, birthing, and postpartum support. Along with Childbirth Education, Sibling Preparation and a Comfort Measures for Birth class.  My goal is to give you and your family the attention and knowledge you need to make informed decisions about your pregnancy and labor process.

A little bit more about me...

I graduated from Marshall University in West Virginia (Go Herd!) with a Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology with minors in Women's Studies and Asian Studies.  In both major and minors I studied the importance of supporting women's health and women of different cultural backgrounds.  My senior year I was introduced to a birth doula and that conversation really sparked my interest  in become one myself! Growing up I always wanted to work with mothers and babies.  I believe that interest led me to becoming a birth doula and childbirth educator.  Along with being a Birth Doula and Childbirth Educator I am also a CNA, where I enjoy serving and caring for others.

As a DONA-trained birth doula, I am excited to partner with Meredith Currin to serve women and families in the Piedmont Triad area. The services I offer are: personalized prenatal, birthing, and postpartum support. With each person and family, my goal is to focus directly on you and your needs throughout each stage. It can be hard to decide what is best during labor, but I will be there every step of the way to guide and comfort you during your next life chapter.

A little bit more about me:

I graduated from Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina with a Bachelor's of Arts in Biology and a minor in Integrated Science. During my time at Guilford College, I had the opportunity to intern at a Birth Center in Greensboro NC  By the end of my tenure there, I had become a Birth Assistant, and spent the next four years with them learning so much about women's health, labor, and delivery. I fell in love with being able to help women and their families enter the next step in their lives! After graduating from Guilford College in 2020, I joined a Certified Nursing Assistant program and became a CNA. Soon after, I took my doula training through DONA International and absolutely loved it. I look forward to meeting new families and sharing my love for childbirth with you!
